Diveheart Adaptive Scuba Training

During this course, individuals with varying disabilities work towards their Diveheart Adaptive Diver Certification. This course is designed to provide an accessible and inclusive opportunity for those interested in scuba diving!

This course is aimed towards certified divers who desire to create and contribute to an inclusive community within the scuba diving industry. During this course, adaptive buddy candidates will complete an eLearning portion designed to educate divers on adaptive equipment and proper techniques while providing support to an adaptive diver as part of an Adaptive Dive Team. Then, divers grow their skills through in-water training with a Divheart Instructor.

This course builds on Diveheart’s Adaptive Dive Buddy Course as it focuses on further educating certified buddies on adaptive equipment, such as the full face mask, and developing adaptive techniques while providing the opportunity to lead Adaptive Dive Teams. 

This course is for certified instructors who desire to teach and certify Adaptive Divers and Buddies. Having the ability to continue to grow the adaptive scuba diving community is an important role. During this course, instructors will develop adaptive teaching techniques and learn to teach adaptive diving courses.
